Rovers made their fourth signing of the summer with the capture of Portuguese attacker Fabio Nunes.

The left-sided forward joined from Portimonese SC for an undisclosed fee, putting pen-to-paper on a three-year deal.

A fellow countryman of recent capture Nuno Gomes, Fabio spent last season on loan with Italian Serie A side Parma whilst he has represented Portugal up to under 19 level.

Speaking of the signing, boss Steve Kean said: "On the back of an incredibly busy week, we are delighted to welcome Fabio to the squad.

"He's an exciting player with clear potential and we are looking forward to seeing push for a place in the senior squad."
