A no-nonsense, tough tackling footballer, Kellen's versatility has proven its worth as he made almost 20 appearances for the Academy in his first season with Rovers.
The former Liverpool graduate can play at full back, in the centre of defence and also in midfield to give the team plenty of options.
The start of the 2012-13 pre-season has seen Kellen feature regularly for the Reserves.
