The Scottish international made the move across the Pennines in a club record £8m deal from Huddersfield Town, putting pen-to-paper on a five-year deal.
Widely regarded as one of the brightest talents outside the top flight, Rhodes was the top scorer in England last season, with 36 league goals, and spearheaded Huddersfield’s promotion charge to the Championship.
Jordan started his career at Barnsley, before joining Ipswich Town in March 2005. He enjoyed successful loan spells with Oxford United, Rochdale and Brentford, where he became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in the club's history, before joining Huddersfield Town in July 2009.
He scored on his debut away to Southend before bagging a brace on his home bow against Stockport County. He ended the season as the Terriers' top scorer with 23 goals, which included a hat-trick of headers in a game against Exeter!
Jordan top scored again in 2010-11, with 22 goals, before really hitting the headlines thanks to a sensational season in front of goal last term.
He registered a phenomenal 40 goals in all competitions, which included three hat-tricks, all four goals in a 4-4 draw with Sheffield Wednesday and five in a 6-0 whitewash over Wycombe Wanderers. He helped Huddersfield secure promotion via the play-offs and was rewarded with the League One Player of the Year award.
The prolific marksman has continued that goalscoring form on the international stage with eight goals in eight games for Scotland's Under-21s, he also has one goal for Scotland's senior squad.
