A regular Norwegian International with over 60 caps to his name, Pedersen has been with the club for eight years after former boss Graeme Souness brought the midfielder to Rovers from Norwegian club Tromso at the start of the 2004/05 season.
After a slow start to his Rovers career, Pedersen has blossomed into one of the Premier League's most consistant performers on the left side of midfield, with the habit of popping up with the odd spectacular and vital goal.
Given a new lease of life after moving to a more central position, the set-piece specialist signed a new four-year deal in May 2010 that sees Morten contracted to the club until the summer of 2014.
