A product of the Rovers' youth set up, local lad Dunn made his debut for the club as an 18-year-old in September 1998.
He would go onto be a firm fixture in the heart of Rovers' midfield and earn England honours in the process.
A move to the midlands and Birmingham City followed in the summer of 2003, but after an injury-plagued spell, Rovers brought the Great Harwood-born player back to the club in 2007.
An attacking midfielder with an eye for the spectacular goal, a new one-year deal ensures the fans favourite will have spent more than 14 years as a professional at Ewood Park.
