Corry Evans joined Rovers from Hull City in August 2013.
The Belfast-born midfielder started out with Manchester United before enjoying loan spells at Hull and Carlisle United.
In January 2011 Evans made a permanent move to the Tigers, playing his part as Hull gained promotion to the Premier League in 2012-13.
However a lack of first team opportunities saw Rovers swoop for his services.
Despite an ankle ligament injury picked up on duty for his country ruling him out for five months in his first season at Ewood Park, the Northern Irishman has been a consistant performer for both club and country.
A strong start to the 2015-16 saw Evans rewarded with a new three-and-a-half year deal to keep him at Ewood Park until the summer of 2019, and he followed that up by representing Northern Ireland in the Euro 2016 finals.
