About me: I have worked at Blackburn Rovers for 12 years specifically heading up the girls and ladies section. I believe Blackburn Rovers to be one of the best talent producing clubs in the country. I am also the Ladies 1st team manager entering my 3rd season. I have a real ambition to be successful and with that I believe everyone that is involved here at Blackburn will strive for the best ñ it is a very exciting time.
Name: Zuber Patel
Role: Technical Director
Experience: Career started with a couple of short term contracts in the USA. After returning to the UK took on various roles at my hometown club Blackburn Rovers and then at Manchester United Soccer Schools. Achieved the UEFA A licence whilst working at various semi-professional clubs in the north west.

About me: Through my experiences I hope to continue my journey of learning in my pursuit to become a better individual and a strong professional.

Name: Scott MacNeill
Role: Under-16s Head Coach
Experience: Previously worked at Blackpool FC Academy and PNE Academy. Also had the role of Head Coach of Lancashire Under-18 county representative team. Currently employed as Head Coach of Oldham College Football Academy and have experience of coaching in the USA & Australia. Also managed West Lancashire League team Blackpool Wren Rovers.
Qualifications: Currently studying UEFA A Licence, UEFA B qualified FA Youth Award 1,2,&3, Basic First Aid for Sport & Emergency Aid qualified along with relevant Safeguarding Certificate. Blackpool Academy Coach of the Year 2014
About me: I am a hugely passionate and enthusiastic coach who has a genuine love for the game. Having been involved in playing since an early age I have been involved in grassroots semi and professional football for over 30 years. Now into my 8th year of coaching I am keen to keep learning and progressing whilst looking to develop players further in their pathway.

About me: This will be my second season with Blackburn Rovers RTC since returning from America where I worked with girls academies in the Baltimore region.

Experience: Ex-professional footballer, youth team and academy player for PNE FC. Started at age of 11. Once finishing my playing career I dropped into the Academy where I got my badges to work with elite players. I worked with all ages from 8-14.

About me: I am a huge sports fan. Love playing, coaching and watching sports. My hobbies are playing football and working out. I am very passionate about football as it has given me a lot of enjoyment throughout my career.
Name: Andy Aspinall
Role: Under-10s Head Coach
Experience: Currently the Women and Girls Football Development Officer with Blackburn Rovers Community Trust. Previously worked with the u9s and u11s at Blackburn Rovers Girls Centre of Excellence, and worked with the u6-u8s at Blackburn Rovers Boys' Academy.
Qualifications: FA Level 2, FA Youth Module 2 and FA Futsal 1. Signed up to participate in UEFA B qualification.
Name: Lauren Downham
Role: Under 10's Assistant Coach
Experience: I work full-time at Westmorland County FA as Assistant Football Development Officer / Community Coach. Within this role I coach players aged 4-11 every day in schools and at Charter Standard Clubs. I was also the Centre Manager of the Westmorland Girls Player Development Centre for 2 season. In addition to my full-time role, I have also coached a number of teams, ranging from U10ís through to open-age, in Grassroots, County and Regional football. I am currently the player manager at Kendal Town FC Ladies Team.

Former Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach for the University of Leeds Women's Football Club and Men's Cricket Club, and a former Strength & Conditioning Coach for the University of Leeds Performance Sport program.

About me: This is my 4th season at Blackburn Rovers RTC where we've been able to successful develop goalkeepers up into international level. I also play the role of Assistant Manager to the Rovers Ladies reserve team.

Role: Education & Welfare Officer
Experience: Assistant Headteacher and Football Coach. Worked in UK, China, USA and Switzerland at some of the most reputable and prestigious schools and football clubs.
Qualifications: Stepping Up to Senior Leadership Award, PGCE with QTS, (BA) hons Degree in Sports Coaching and Development and UEFA B Football Coaching Licence.
Name: Joseph Knowles
Qualifications: BSc hons sports science from Lincoln university majoring in Golf Recently qualified as BSc Hons (21) in physio from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Experience: As a student I shadowed the under 19s physio at Warrington Wolves. Since graduating I have been part of the medical team for England Touch Rugby at the European Championships in Jersey. Alongside my part time role with the RTC at Blackburn I work full time for Warrington and Halton NHS foundation trust as a rotational physio.
About me: My main sport to play is golf and I have been a category one golfer since the age of 16.
Name: Grant-James Wain
Role: Sports Therapist for Under-10's/Under-12's
Experience: I have experience in a variety of sports including hockey, rugby (union & league), American football and football where I have experience with Accrington Stanley FC CoE, The Robbie Fowler Academy, Airbus FC (Welsh Premier League) and University teams.
Qualifications: 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy from Edge Hill University, BFAS, FA Safeguarding., Level 2 gym instructor, VTCT Level 4 in Sports Massage.
About me: I enjoy football having played for Shrewsbury CofE and Wales U16s. I also enjoy staying active, and keeping healthy. I love attending the gym 6 times a week encountering resistance training and I always try to promote good health and wellbeing. I have a specific interest in Rehabilitation and Strength and Conditioning and will be undergoing a Masters in Research around this area.
Name: Chelsey Dempsey
Role: Sport and Exercise Scientist (Psychology).
Experience: I have previously worked with professional basketball and ice hockey teams, Team GB Biathlon, and Canadian college ice hockey in delivering sport psychology support. I have also coached the Bangor University Ladies Football Team whilst at University, and captained Vauxhall Ladies F.C team as a player.
Qualifications: BSc. in Sport, Health, and Physical Education. MSc. in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology. Currently at the latter stages of a PhD. in Sport Psychology, which focusses on confidence and performance. I am also accredited as a Sport and Exercise Scientist (Psychology) through BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences).
About me: Aside from my role in the RTC, I also lecture at Bangor University in North Wales. I absolutely love the challenge of trying to improve a team or individual's level of performance by applying sport psychology. I feel most at home in a football environment and I am very excited to be joining the staff here at Blackburn Rovers. In my spare time I play football for Egerton FC, when I am not playing football, I am probably watching it!
Name: Ryan Shorrock
Role: Performance Analyst
Experience: I have previously worked at Morecambe FC as a performance analyst with their youth team before moving to Blackburn in March 2015. I have worked within coaching at various levels since university 10 years ago. I currently work as a Manager within a company that provides Sports Coaching provision to schools across the North West.
Qualifications: I have a BSc Hons in Sports Coaching and Performance Development and a variety of coaching qualifications across a broad range of sports.
About me: My role at the club is to oversee the analysis for each of the girls teams from the RTC through to the First Team. I have recently been made an Ambassador for some professional analysis software that we hope can benefit the club by offering the same products and feedback as full-time professional teams. I will look to support the coaches by offering alternative tools for feedback within their coaching sessions to ensure the players gain a full and thorough understanding of each topic.
