Rovers Reserves are back in action this afternoon when they travel to take on Liverpool.

As with previous outings, Gary Bowyer has a squad that has some league experience, the likes of Adam Henley, Nick Blackman, Jordan Slew and Josh Morris all included.

Herold Goulon is back in the squad after completing his loan deal with Doncaster Rovers, whilst, after impressing in the Youth Cup and for the Academy at the weekend against Everton, Hugo Fernandez (pictured) makes his fourth Reserve start of the season.

When the two sides met at Leigh Sports Village back in November the match ended goalless.

Kick-off at the Liverpool Academy is at 2.00pm.
