Reserve team goalkeeper Jake Kean has joined League One side Hartlepool United on loan.

The 19-year-old stopper has signed a one-month youth loan deal with Mick Wadsworth side, making him available for their league game against Exeter City this Saturday.

Signed from Derby County after a successful trial, Kean made 17 appearances for the Academy and Reserves last season, and has been in goal for both of Iain Brunskill's Reserve matches this term.
