Rovers Reserves will have a twin strike-force of Jason Roberts and Benjani as part of a strong line-up for the match against Arsenal this Tuesday evening.
Iain Brunskill's side has a youthful back five, but ahead of that the team is packed with experience as David Dunn, Jason Roberts, Benjani, Junior Hoilett, Steven Nzonzi and Amine Linganzi all feature.
Zimbabwe international Benjani played 45 minutes in a behind closed doors practice match last week against Scunthorpe, but this evening's match against the Gunners at Barnet is his first official runout in Rovers colours.
On the bench for Rovers is the returning Jason Lowe. The young midfielder was scheduled to have been involved with England's under 19s over the summer until he picked up an ankle injury in training with the Young Lions, ruling him out of the tournament and the first month of the new season.
For the home side they too have experience in their ranks, with the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Denilson, Johan Djourou and new signing Sebastien Squillaci in their starting line-up.
Kick-off at Underhill is at 7.00pm, updates from the game will follow online.
