Rovers Reserves have a home start to their 2010-11 campaign after the fixtures we released this Wednesday.
Iain Brunskill's development squad get their season underway at Leigh Sports Village on Bank Holiday Monday August 30th, with a 2.00pm kick-off.
Their first away match comes the week after when they face a trip to Underhill, the home of Barnet FC to play Arsenal on September 7th.
The Reserve leagues have had a revamp this season, with the clubs taking part now split into three regional leagues.
Northern Group A sees Bolton Wanderers, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic.
Northern Group B is where Rovers are placed along with Blackpool, Everton, Liverpool and Sunderland.
The third group covers with Midlands and Southern teams with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Teams will play those they are grouped with twice, home and away, and teams in the other groups once, home or away, resulting in 19 fixtures, one more than last season. The winners of the two Northern leagues then play each other and then face the Southern group to decide the Reserve team winner for the 2010-11 campaign.
As with last season Rovers will play their home games at Leigh Sports Village with the exception of one match, against West Ham United on Monday March 28th, which will take place at Rovers' Senior Training Centre that afternoon at 2pm.

Meanwhile the draw for the Lancashire Senior Cup has been made with Rovers being drawn at home to Rochdale. No date has been set for this match as yet but it has to have taken place by October 31st. The winners will play either Morecambe or Blackpool.
