Posted on: Sun 25 Jan 2009

Reserve team midfielder Alex Marrow has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the club.

Alex, who turned 19 on January 21st, has signed a new contract which will keep him at Ewood Park until June 2011.

The utility player, who has also featured at centre half and right back for the reserves this season, joined Rovers from non-league side Ashton Athletic following a successful trial at the club.

Alex was given senior squad number 37 by former manager Paul Ince in August.
