Sunderland again!
A ROVERS side take on Sunderland for the third time in seven days with the Reserve teams going head-to-head this evening.
Iain Brunskill's side travel to the Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground looking to gain ground on Sunderland who head the table at this early stage of the season with 18pts from their seven games played.
But Rovers are third in the table with two games in hand on their opponents and victory this evening will see them rise to second in the table.
With the internationals taking centre stage this evening, the Reserves are likely to put out a more youthful looking side in recent weeks, but one that does have experience at first team level with the likes of Mark Bunn, Tony Kane, Bryan Hodge, Alan Judge and Andy Haworth (pictured), who made his senior debut in last week's Carling Cup victory, are all expected to feature.
Iain Brunskill has named an 18-man squad for the trip to the north east and will select from: Bunn, Kane, Bateson, Winnard, Marrow, Hodge, Judge, O'Keefe, J. Santa Cruz, Ajdarevic, Haworth, Marshall, Bussmann, Lowe, Hanley, Potts, O'Connor, Jones.
Kick-off is at 7.00pm.
