ALEX Marrow has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

A former midfielder with non-league side Ashton Athletic, Alex arrived at Blackburn Rovers in February initially on trial, but the 18-year-old impressed enough to sign a short-term contract.

In that time Marrow made ten starts for the Academy under 18s, plus four appearances for Glyn Hodges' Reserve side, scoring one goal for each.
