Biography:
Signed on a free transfer from Liverpool in November 2000, the former American international is considered one of the top goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Friedel now holds the record for making the most Premier League appearances for the club and signed an extension to his contract in February 2008 that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2010.
Now the longest serving player at the club, Brad has been an ever-present in Premier League games for Rovers for the last five seasons, holding the record for the most consecutive appearances by a Rovers player.
A consistant performer, Brad even found the back of the net, when scoring against Charlton at the Valley in the 2003/04 season. Now retired from the international stage, Brad made 80 appearances for the USA.
