Biography:
Former boss Graeme Souness brought Tugay to Ewood Park from Scottish side Glasgow Rangers in the summer of 2001 for a £1.3m fee.
An experienced campaigner who represented Turkey on 94 occasions, the mercurial midfielder has made over 200 appearances for Rovers and is renowned as one of the Premiership's most elegant ball players and a true fans favourite.
Signed a new contract in May 2008 that will see him with the club until June 2009 making it eight seasons with the Lancashire club.
