Biography:
This central midfielder was signed from French club Amiens SC at the end of June 2009 on a four-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.
His first season with the club was certainly a memorable one, Steven went on to make 33 league starts and scored one of the goals of the campaign with a 30 yard strike against Everton. Culminating in the French under 21 international winning the 'Player of the Year' award.
The 2010-11 season wasn't as kind to Steven, the midfielder missing half the season after picking up a serious hamstring injury in October 2010, but he returned to the first team in March to have a strong end to the campaign in the centre of midfield.
