After a successful trial with the club, Rovers signed this Faroe Island under 21 international from Danish club BK Frem Copenhagen for a small fee in July 2007.
The stopper signed two-year deal withe the Ewood Park club with Rovers having an option of a further year.
Made 12 Reserve team appearances in his first season with the club last term.
