Goalkeeper Bunn answers your questions submitted to him in our popular programme feature...

Hello Mark. Do you think that we can avoid the drop with the current players we have in the team or do you think that we will need to bring in a few more players to strengthen the squad? (Nick Wright, Blackburn)

I think the players we've got at the minute are capable of getting us out of trouble. We've got some good games coming up, so hopefully we can pick up some points. If we can win some more home games, then I'm confident we'll soon start to climb the table. By the same token, it's always good to get some new faces in, who can help us fight to stay up. But if that doesn't happen, then I'm sure we are more than capable of getting out of the relegation battle ourselves.

Mark. You have clearly proven that you have the quality for the Premier League, reflecting on the Liverpool and Manchester United games, but considering that you have been Number 2 to Paul Robinson for several seasons now, what do you think you need to improve on to secure the Number 1 jersey? (Dean Carbin, Cheltenham)

I feel like the games that I've played, I've shown that I'm capable of playing for Blackburn. It's down to the manager at the end of the day and I'll always respect his decision, because it's a hard job to do. We all work hard in training every day to improve our own game and it's great to work with the other good goalkeepers that we have at this club, because you can always add some of their strengths into your game. So, I work on my overall game all the time in order to improve myself.

How did you get to where you are today and what sort of training did you do? (Harry Jones)

When I was younger, my brother used to stick me in goal and blasts footballs at me! Then, at a young age, I went to Spurs. It didn't quite work out there, so I went to Northampton. I did my YTS there and my college work, and I just worked hard and managed to get an opportunity to come to Blackburn , which was really good.

Hi Mark. Unfortunately I don't get to watch you play live a lot as I work in the middle-east in Qatar for a sports academy. However, I watch all of your games on TV. I would like to know how you felt when stepping out onto Old Trafford's Theatre of Dreams pitch for the first time in your career? It will definitely not be your last! (Justin Simon Goodwin, Qatar)

Good question! I think every kid dreams of playing at Old Trafford and to get a result like we did was unbelievable. When you're in the tunnel and you look across at their great players, it's good to play against them. So it was a great feeling and even better to get a result against them. The game on New Year's Eve was actually the second time I've played at Old Trafford, as I played there in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North final last May, which we won as well. So I've not lost at Old Trafford yet, which is a good record!

How highly would you rate your last-minute save against Liverpool and would you say it's the best save you've made in your career? (Stew Kali, Ewood)

It doesn't come much better than saving a shot from Andy Carroll in the last minute, so I think that's probably the highlight of my career so far and hopefully I can make more saves like that to help the team out.

Is it true that you have to be a bit mad to be a goalkeeper? (Anthony Lochead, Wales)

I think most goalkeepers are a bit mad, but I wouldn't say that I'm particularly crazy! But yes, I think you've got to be a bit mad to go in goal. To stand in the net and let people blast shots at you! I wanted to play outfield, but I wasn't good enough, so I went in goal and seemed to enjoy it and did well. So it's good to see where I am now.

Hi Mark. Who was your goalkeeping hero as a kid growing up? (J. Waring, Ireland)

When I was a kid growing up, when I was at Spurs, it was Ian Walker. I was a big fan of his dodgy curtains!

How does a second-choice goalkeeper keep himself motivated when he knows he may not be involved for long periods in a season? (Barry Dickson, Blackpool)

You've just got to keep working hard in training. Sometimes it's tough to keep motivated, but that's what Bobby Mimms is there for - to help you out and to make sure you work hard in training, so that when you do get the chance you take it.

What do you like to do in your spare time? (Ann Rigby, Great Harwood)

To be fair, I don't do a lot in my spare time. I'm quite a boring guy. After training, I usually just go home and relax. I've also got a little girl to look after, so most of my time is taken up with her, which is really good.

What is the best save you have ever seen live or on TV? (John Jackson, Blackburn)

Other than mine against Andy Carroll you mean?! Probably David Seaman's save against Sheffield United. I think it was Paul Peschisolido and he clawed it out from virtually behind him. Unbelievable!
