Ewood Park
Children from all over the world will come to Ewood Park to improve their English and football skills

Blackburn Rovers in the Community and inlingua Cheltenham have teamed up to design a unique English and football summer camp for young foreign players aged between 11 and 16.

The enthusiastic youngsters are coming from all over the world (Mexico, Columbia, Russia, Israel, Spain, Italy and Taiwan) to improve both their English language and football skills.

They will have three hours of English lessons at Ewood Park and two-and-a-half hours of football coaching at the BRIC every day. They will be busy two nights a week on the social activities programme and have a full day excursion on the Saturday.

The young visitors will be accommodated with local families. They need a bed, breakfast and evening meal and for this the family will be paid £80 per student per week. Families with adequate facilities can take up to four students per week.

Dates: four weeks from 9th July to 6th August 2006.

Age of players: from 11 to 16 years.

Payment to family: £80 per student per week (paid weekly in arrears).

Preferred Locations: Witton, Lower Darwen or anywhere within a 20 minute car journey of Ewood Park.
