INTERNATIONAL ROVERS

Bellamy has been called up by Wales

WITH the international break almost upon us once again, many of the Rovers players will be away on World Cup duty for their countries.

First in action is Paul Gallagher who is currently on loan with Stoke City has been called up for Scotland's under 21s for their UEFA qualifiers against Belarus in Cumbernauld on Friday October 7th, and away in Velenje to face Slovenia on Tuesday 11th October.

Steven Reid is the Republic of Ireland squad that faces a trip to Nicosia for their important game against Cyprus on October 8th, with a Switzerland the opposition at Lansdowne Road the following Wednesday night.

Craig Bellamy will be hoping to remain injury free when away on international duty for Wales. John Toshack's side face Northern Ireland in Belfast with Azerbaijan travelling to the Millennium Stadium four days later.

Aussie due Lucas Neill and Brett Emerton have a training camp in Holland before they have a friendly match at Craven Cottage on Sunday October 9th against Jamaica.

Aaron Mokoena represents South Africa against D.R. Congo, whilst Zura Khizanishvili's Georgia face Kazakhstan and Greece.

Shefki Kuqi's Finland have two home games against Romania and the Czech Republic, whilst Morten Gamst Pedersen will turn out for Norway against Moldova in Olso, followed by a trip to Minsk for their World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
