Mark Hughes - penalty woe

Mark Hughes felt Rovers should have had a penalty, but also admitted concern over the shortage of goals after the 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.

"It was a penalty when Paul (Dickov) was pushed to the ground, but the fact that it wasn't given is somwhat indicative of how things are going for us right now.

"We did not play at the level we can and Boro were certainly sharper is most areas. The second half was better but, even then, we didn't put their goal under enough pressure.

"We are struggling for goals and it needs someone to step forward and take comand of that particular situation. The way things are we are looking to get our noses in front and then protect a lead.

"I am not unduly concerned although it is obvious that we still need to win some more matches."
