Inury blow for Vratty

ROVERS have confirmed that Vratislav Gresko has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Club doctor Phil Batty explained: "Vratty returned from international duty with an injury. Tests have revealed cruciate ligament damage and unfortunately he will be out of action for several months."

Vratislav was injured whilst playing in the goal-less draw between Slovakia and Slovenia in mid-November.

The 27 year-old Slovakian defender played in Rovers' opening three matches and in the Carling Cup tie with Bournemouth but had been out of the first team picture recently. As an experienced international, however, he provided valuable cover.
