OP FOR MATT

Matt Jansen
Jansen is expected to be out for two to three weeks

ROVERS' assistant manager Mark Bowen confirmed that Matt Jansen has undergone surgery to correct a cartilage problem today.

"Matt had a small operation this morning to trim knee cartilage," explained Mark.

"It's a tiny piece of work and we believe it should be a fairly quick recovery.

"I am guessing, but I reckon maybe two to three weeks before he is back in action completely."

Meanwhile, Mark also confirmed that Lorenzo Amoruso is recovering well from his knee operation and is looking to get back in the frame.

"Lorenzo is jogging for the first time today and a bit of kicking. There is still some scar tissue present so it will be some weeks before. I think it's a case of see how he goes, you can't put a real time on a comeback, we'll see how he progresses."
