ROVERS boss Mark Hughes praised his players' determination not to get beat as they picked up their second point on their travels this season.
But now the manager wants his players to convert those draws into the wins that will see Rovers climb the table.
The point took Rovers off the bottom of the table, but Hughes knows that it is wins that are crucial to Rovers' survival.
"I felt first half we shaded it," said Hughes, "certainly created more chances."
"Just before City got the goal Jon Stead had a great chance at the other end, so I was disappointed to go one-nil down.
"At this level one lapse of concentration can cost you, and it did. But we came in the dressing room, dusted ourselves down and went again.
"If we can get our noses in front I think we will be a difficult team to beat, the players are showing great determination, and that has got us something out of the last two games we've been involvement.
"Thats three games unbeaten, two of those games were difficult away games, hopefully now we can convert draws into wins.
"There were opportunities towards the end, I think our performance merited more than the one point today. I thought the players continued to show great determination and if we continue in that vein we'll be ok."
