Hughes has added to his backroom staff

NEW Ewood chief Mark Hughes has added to his backroom staff with the appointment of Eddie Niedzwiecki as first team coach.

Niedzwiecki, 45, who watched Rovers' 1-0 win over Portsmouth from the stands, joins the club from Premiership champions Arsenal were he has coached the reserve team for four years.

A former Wrexham and Chelsea goalkeeper, Bangor-born Niedzwiecki worked under Hughes during his time in charge of the Wales national side, and has also enjoyed coaching spells with Reading and Chelsea.

Season Ticket holders are reminded that to be able to purchase tickets for Wednesday's game against Bournemouth for just £10, they have until 5pm Tuesday to do so.
