ROVERS' medical team were anxiously waiting the outcome of a scan on Craig Short.

The influential defender limped out of Saturday's game against Portsmouth in the 41st minute, to be replaced by Lorenzo Amoruso.

Chief executive John Williams said this morning: "Craig went over on an ankle and has a ligament problem. It's impossible to be more precise until we see the medical reports."
