ROVERS' midfielder Neil Danns has joined Hartlepool United on a month's loan, starting today.

The 21 year-old from Liverpool trained with the Division Two side this morning and is expected to go straight into the side which entertains Queens Park Rangers at Victoria Park tomorrow.

Danns spent three months at Blackpool earlier this season and Hartlepool manager Neale Cooper was impressed with his play.

He said: "It's a great signing for us and I'm thankful to Graeme Souness and the people at Blackburn for allowing us to take him.

"I'm sure the fans will be excited when they see him because he's a good player."

Danns has worked his way through Rovers Academy and is currently the Reserve team skipper. He has made five starts for Rovers in all competitions.
