SOUEY: STORY OF OUR SEASON

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

Sloppy goals once again - Souness

GRAEME Souness didn't mince his words in the post-match press conference after Rovers conceded a last minute goal to hand all three points to Charlton Athletic at the Valley today.

Brad Friedel looked to have given Rovers a well deserved point with an 89th minute equaliser, only for Claus Jensen to win it for Charlton with almost the last kick off the game.

"Today was the story of our season," said Souness after the match.

"We conceded some very sloppy goals, but worked our socks off to get ourselves back into the game, only for us to throw it away at the end.

"We have twelve games left this season and we have to start getting it right."

Monday's Rovers World will bring you all the post match reaction from The Valley.
