MATT TO REST UP

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

Jansen was substituted after a clash of heads

MATT Jansen will spend the next few days resting after being knocked out during last night's reserve team victory against Manchester City.

Jansen was involved in a clash of heads with Nedum Onuoha after just quarter-of-an-hour and had to be substituted.

Rovers' Chief Executive John Williams said: "Our medical team said that Matt recovered quickly after being knocked out.

"He will now rest over the weekend and not be involved in any football action, but he is expected to be back in training on Monday."

Today's Rovers World has all the highlights from last night's reserves win.
