Gray: I jumped at the chance to sign for Rovers
ROVERS' latest signing, England international Michael Gray says he's 'excited and raring to get back into action.'
The 29 year-old joined Rovers from Sunderland on a free transfer after passing a medical and agreeing a two-and-half year contract.
He said: "It happened very quickly and I jumped at the chance to play in the Premiership again and at a great club.
"It won't be easy to get into the side, there is quality throughout the squad, but I am delighted and excited to be here. It will be great to get out there and have a crowd roaring you on.
"Of course it was disappointing to be relegated with Sunderland, my hometown club, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Right now, I'm looking to more great times at Blackburn.
"It's a new challenge, I have only been at one club before. But I have seen Rovers on TV and played against them a few times, I know what quality players are here. There is no question, we can climb up the league."
