GRAEME Souness was too disappointed to speak to the awaiting press after Rovers' lost their fifth Premiership game in a row at the Walkers Stadium this afternoon.
Assistant Manager Tony Parkes summed up the gloom in the camp after Leicester snatched an unlikely victory.
"We dominated for long periods, had a lot of possession and created plenty of chances but we didn't get the goals our play deserved," said Tony Parkes after the game.
"We thought we had a good shout for a penalty, but we knew that the first goal would be vital and unfortunately Leicester scored it.
"I don't think Brad Friedel had a shot to save except for the two goals.
"There's a lot of gutted players in that dressing room, and we have eight days to lift the players before we face Everton on Monday night.
"There are still 27 games left, we have some good players in that dressing room, but they are good players lacking confidence. But there are a lot of games left and we'll get out of the situation we find ourselves in.
"This recent run has come as a bit of a shock to us, we have some excellent players at this club and we have the players to get us up the table.
"We know we are in the bottom three right now, and have lost five in a row, but it only takes a couple of wins and we'll be up the table," added Parkes.
