Ferguson: Talks still ongoing

ROVERS have confirmed that a second bid for Barry Ferguson has been rejected, but talks are ongoing.

The Rangers skipper is in Copenhagen for Champions League action tonight as Rovers continue to negotiate with the Scottish giants.

Chief executive John Williams said this morning: "He is a player that we really want to sign, but unfortunately there appears to be a big gap between the two clubs.

"Rangers have a very high valuation and clearly do not want to lose their player. We will continue to talk to them."
