David Dunn's love affair with Blackburn Rovers is set to continue.

The midfielder today put pen-to-paper on a new deal that will see him remain a Rover until June 2013.

Rovers manager Steve Kean said: "Everyone knows that not only is David Blackburn Rovers through and through, but he remains a top player and a key member of our squad.

"He has been at the top of his game over recent weeks and we are all delghted to see him extend his association with the club."

A former graduate of the club's youth scheme, David made his debut for Rovers aged 18 back in September 1998. He would quickly progress to be one of the standout midfielders in the country, earning international recognition.
