Kean's Hoilett hopes

Posted on: Fri 27 Jan 2012

Steve Kean hopes that Junior Hoilett remains injury free and at his best for the remainder of the season.

The Canadian star has been in sensational form for Rovers since returning from a hamstring injury that forced him to miss games at the turn of the year, playing an important role in the win over Fulham and the draw at Everton last time out.

"Since he's got over his hamstring injury I think Junior has looked bright and sharp and more than anything he's happy," said the Rovers boss.

"He's smiling and we hope we can keep him, not only in this window but beyond.

"There is no reason why we can't keep him beyond the end of this season and hopefully try and get something sorted out and keep him."

Hoilett and his Rovers team-mates are back in action on Wednesday February 1st when Newcastle United are the visitors to Ewood Park.

Tickets are currently on open sale for the match with prices starting from £17 for Adults, £12 for Seniors and £7 for Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk.
