Jason Roberts has today signed for Reading Football Club.

The 34-year-old centre forward links up with the Championship with the terms of the transfer undisclosed.

Signed by former Rovers boss Mark Hughes in the summer of 2006, Jason spent five-and-a-half season with the club.

During his time with Rovers he would go on to make over 150 appearances, scoring 29 goals.

Roberts has put pen-to-paper on an 18-month contract with the Royals.
