The weekend saw Rovers players around the globe featuring for their respective countries.
Kicking off their Euro 2012 qualification process were Norway who were in Reykjavik taking on Iceland. The home side took the lead but second half goals saw Norway claim a 2-1 win. Morten Gamst Pedersen playing the full match and setting up Brede Hangeland for Norway's first goal.
Norway are now in Oslo for Tuesday's match against Portugal.
Zurab Khizanishvili's Georgia drew their opening game against Greece 1-1 in Piraeus, the defender played the full match.
One player not involved was Jason Brown as Wales lost 1-0 to Montenegro.
In St. Gallen, Brett Emerton featured for 90 minutes as new Socceroo boss Holger Osieck saw his side draw 0-0 with Switzerland. Australia play a second friendly this Tuesday when they face Poland in Krakow.
At the under 21 level, Phil Jones and Frank Fielding both played the full match for England as they defeated Portugal 1-0 in Barcelos.
But Greece's win on Saturday means Stuart Pearce's side can no longer win their group, their only hope now being that they can finish one of the best 2nd place finishers.
Their final Group 9 match takes place at Colchester this Tuesday evening.
In Gothenburg, Sweden's under 21s suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to Israel. Needing just a point to secure top spot in Group 6, the Swede's came unstuck against an Israeli side making a late surge in the group.
Martin Olsson played the full match for the Swedish under 21s and will hope to do so once again on Tuesday for their final group match against Bulgaria in Lovech.
But one side who can no longer qualify for the under 21 finals is the Republic of Ireland. They went into their match against Switzerland knowing only a win would give them an outside chance of qualification, but they were 1-0 losers.
