This Friday sees several Rovers stars in action in Euro 2012 qualifiers, Under 21 qualifying matches and friendly games.
Morten Gamst Pedersen's Norway kick off their Group H campaign in Reykjavik this evening when they face Iceland, whilst Jason Brown is in Podgorica with the Wales squad for their Group G opener against Montenegro. Georgia, captained by Zurab Khizanishvili are in Athens to face Greece.
Three UEFA Under 21 qualifiers take place on Friday with Rovers connections. Frank Fielding and Phil Jones are almost certain starters for England as they take on Portugal in Barcelos.
Stuart Pearce's side are currently second in Group 9 five points behind leaders Greece but with a game in hand. If England are to have ambitions of finishing top of their group then a win tonight is imperative.
One team with no such worries appear to be Sweden, they top Group 6 with 16 points from their six games played so far, 3 points ahead of second placed Montenegro with also a game in hand.
The Swedish squad features Martin Olsson for their Gothenburg encounter against Israel, victory this evening should secure their place through to the finals.
One side that has little chance of qualifying is the Republic of Ireland under 21s. They are currently placed bottom of Group 2, 6 points off second place with two games remaining.
Alan Judge and Gavin Gunning are in the squad for their match against Switzerland in Lugano.
On international friendly duty this evening also is Brett Emerton as Australia take on Switzerland in St. Gallen.
Saturday sees Niko Kalinić with the Croatian under 21 side for their match against Serbia.
Croatia only need a point against their Group 7 opponents to secure top spot in the qualification campaign.
Further afield Mame Biram Diouf is with the Senegal squad for their African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Democratic Republic of Congo, whilst on Sunday Chris Samba's Congo face the Sudan in their opening match of the campaign.
