The Premier League have confirmed that West Ham United have completed the signing of Lars Jacobsen from Rovers.

The two clubs were in transfer negotiations close to the Tuesday 6.00pm cut-off point, leading to a decision the following day as to whether the transfer had been completed in time.

Now confirmation has been received, the Danish international moves to the Premier League's bottom club on a free transfer.

Jacobsen signed for Rovers on a free transfer last summer after his release by Everton, he went onto make 16 appearances during his 14 months with the club.
