Promising midfielder Alex Marrow has joined Crystal Palace on loan.

The 20-year-old, who can also operate in defence, travelled south to join up the Championship club in time to be in George Burley's squad for their Selhurst Park fixture against Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Marrow has joined the South London club on loan until the beginning of January.

Last year saw Marrow enjoy a season-long loan spell with Oldham Athletic making 34 appearances for the League One side, scoring one goal.
