Rovers trialist Andranik Teymourian has chosen not to travel with the squad to Australia.

The former Bolton and Fulham midfielder had linked up with old boss Sam Allardyce this summer and played in Rovers' friendly matches against Southport last Saturday and in Wednesday night's match against Huddersfield Town.

The Iranian international was offered the opportunity to travel with Rovers to Australia for the Sydney Festival of Football, but the player has indicated that he wishes to stay behind in the UK to be in a position to explore all options available to him.

His place on the trip has been taken by 18-year-old left sided player Josh Morris who impressed at the Galpharm Stadium last night.
