Marshall joins the Millers

Posted on: Thu 10 Jun 2010

Forward Marcus Marshall has left Blackburn Rovers to join League Two side Rotherham United.

The 20-year-old had spent the full season on loan with Ronnie Moore's team, and as his contract at Ewood was coming to an end, Rotherham United quickly signed him up on a two-year deal.

Marshall came through the Academy at Rovers, making just the one first team appearance - a substitute in Rovers' 4-1 win over Grimsby Town in the Carling Cup in August 2008.
