Bid to Play at Ewood on Monday 10th May!

Posted on: Sun 21 Mar 2010

Football Aid, in association with Blackburn Rovers FC, are once again giving fans the opportunity to pull on their very own club kit and take part in a unique 90 min match on the hallowed turf at Ewood Park. Taking part alongside the fortunate fans, and helping to guide them through their paces, will be former players of the club; with legends such as Kevin Gallagher, Colin Hendry and Mark Atkins all taking part in recent years.

The last few 'Buy Now' positions are still available in this game, they include the 45 min Home No 6 Centre Mid and 90 min No 1 GoalKeeper both available for £250 and the 45 min Away No 15 Centre Half available for £175 and the 90 min Away No 7 Right Midfield available for £395 - just visit www.footballaid.com, select Blackburn Rovers and the position you would like to play in.

After arriving at the ground the players will be taken to a hospitality suite to meet the rest of their side before being ushered down to the first team dressing rooms to get changed into their very own fully personalised club kit. Then it's out onto the hallowed turf to get warmed up before playing a unique 90 minute match, under the watchful gaze of four qualified match officials, alongside Rovers legends. Post match awards will be presented for both man-of-the-match and moment-of-the-match.

So why not visit www.footballaid.com now to find out how you could Live the Dream at Ewood Park on Monday 10th May 2010. Alternatively, if you'd like more information, e-mail the Football Aid team at info@footballaid.com or call us on 0131 220 5999.

Since Football Aid's debut season in 2001, supporters from all over the world have been coming together to raise significant funds for our nominated charities. Funds raised from our events are distributed through Football Aid's parent charity Field of Dreams and split between Diabetes related projects and charities nominated by our participating clubs. Past charitable beneficiaries nominated by Blackburn Rovers have included East Lancashire Hospice and the Prince's Trust. These donations, alongside funds donated by other clubs to local and national projects, will allow Football Aid to pledge its £1.5 millionth to charity this season.
