STEVEN Reid played his third full match in seven days as West Bromwich Albion kept up their promotion challenge with a 3-2 win over Blackpool at The Hawthorns.

The Republic of Ireland international is on loan at Roberto Di Matteo's side for a month and was on the winning side once again in a close encounter over the Seasiders, in a game in which Reid played at right back.

Goalkeeper Mark Bunn impressed as Sheffield United drew 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers at Bramall Lane, but Alan Judge and Zurab Khizanishvili were unused substitutes for Plymouth and Reading respectively.

In League One Aaron Doran was again lively for Leyton Orient as the O's picked up their first win in seven outings with a 2-0 win over Walsall, but fellow midfielder Alex Marrow was an unused substitute for Oldham Athletic as they drew 2-2 with Wycombe Wanderers.

Rovers have five players on loan at League Two clubs but only two featured on Saturday.

Frank Fielding was in goal as Rochdale stretched their lead at the top of the division to nine points as Keith Hill's side defeated Shrewsbury 1-0. Andy Haworth was an unused substitute.

Whilst Marcus Marshall made his first start for Rotherham as they kept up chase for promotion. The on-loan forward had a hand in the only goal that gave Rotherham a 1-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge. But a thigh injury prevented Gavin Gunning from taking part in the game.

Johnny Flynn was an unused substitute as Accrington defeat Barnet 2-1 at Underhill.
