ROVERS will be without captain Ryan Nelsen for Sunday's trip to Anfield.
The New Zealander limped out of last weekend's 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers with a knee injury and will miss the next two or three weeks.
But that news is tempered by the return of fellow defender Chris Samba after he completed his two-match ban.
Also returning to the squad for the Liverpool match is Brett Emerton who was absent from the victory over Bolton with a slight achilles knock.
This all means that the manager has a large squad to select from, something he's delighted with.
"We've got several players that have come back into the squad that played in the Reserves on Wednesday night and we've got Brett Emerton back as well," said Sam.
"Chris Samba returns from suspension so I've a very big squad to choose from this weekend which I'm really pleased about.
"Liverpool played last night, and they are playing a certain way to dig results out so we've to look at that and pick the right team.
"If we are going to make an adjustment I don't see there being too many."
The manager should select from: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Givet, Olsson, Diouf, Andrews, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Hoilett, Kalinić, Brown, Dunn, Roberts, Grella, Reid, Di Santo, Chimbonda, Jones.
