SAM Allardyce has called on his front line to end the season with a glut of goals.

No less than 17 players have found the net for Rovers this season, but it is the lack of goals from the forwards that continues to cause the Rovers boss concern.

"We haven't been very good in front of goal all season," said Allardyce ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Hull City.

"We just have to carry on and hope somebody finishes with a flourish.

"We've scored goals on a regular basis and then we've had our dry spells.

"Certainly looking at chances to goals scored we should have 20% more than we've got this year on chances created.

"It has been a pretty barren year for us in terms of putting the ball in the back of the net, but sooner or later, if you keep creating the chances, it goes your way and hopefully that is on Wednesday night."
