Two absent for Tigers visit

Posted on: Tue 09 Feb 2010

SAM Allardyce is without David Dunn and Christopher Samba for Wednesday night's Ewood Park clash against Hull City.

Following his sending off in the 3-0 defeat to Stoke City at the weekend, his second red card of the season, Christopher Samba serves the first of a two-match ban.

David Dunn is the other absentee for the match against in-form Hull City, a niggling calf injury keeping the attacking midfielder out once again, but he should be back for the match against Bolton Wanderers in a fortnight's time.

After the friendly match against Fleetwood Town on Monday night that saw Vince Grella, Lars Jacobsen along with new signings Yildiray Basturk and Amine Linganzi get vital minutes under their belts, they are all added to the squad but Allardyce may not involve them in the selected 18.

"We've just David Dunn out, but obviously we'll take it easy in terms of the selection process for the players that played on Monday night," said Sam on Tuesday.

"We may include them in the squad but that might be all that we do at the moment and then look at Bolton after that to have an even bigger and better squad to choose from."

The Rovers boss is expected to choose from: Robinson, Chimbonda, Nelsen, Givet, Olsson, Di Santo, Emerton, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Kalinić, Brown, Roberts, Grella, Reid, Andrews, Diouf, Hoilett, Di Santo, Salgado, Jones, Jacobsen, Basturk, Linganzi.

Tickets for Wednesday night's game at Ewood are on open sale right up until the 8.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £17.00 for Adults, £12.00 for Seniors/Club 16-21 Members and £7.00 for Juniors 15 and under. Book online right now at www.onerovers.co.uk
