Keep it going

Posted on: Sun 31 Jan 2010

SAM Allardyce has called on his side to continue their improvement after their 0-0 draw at West Ham.

Rovers really should have earned all three points against Gianfranco Zola's side on Saturday, but the draw did see them pick up a point to take them into the top half of the table for the first time this season.

And after picking up seven points from a possible nine, the Rovers boss wants to build on that and keep climbing the table.

"We are delighted that we are on this run, a little run that is undefeated," said Sam.

"We are playing well as well, the good players are beginning to produce good performances on a consistant basis and we are creating chances.

"Against West Ham we nearly got both things perfectly correct, the defending side in not allowing West Ham to score and the attacking side with the chances created.

"It is just that we didn't put the ball in the net.

"Hopefully we'll keep playing in the same vein, we'll keep improving and keep getting results, keep winning football matches and start looking to have a comfortable position in the Premier League as quickly as we can and see how far we can go."
