Franco Di Santo has admitted it was an easy decision to make to remain with Rovers for the remainder of the 2009/10 campaign.

On Wednesday the 20-year-old forward saw his existing loan deal from Chelsea extended until the end of the current season, and the Argentine was delighted to do so.

"I'm very happy to stay here in Blackburn because they have given me the opportunity to play," Di Santo exclusively told Rovers Player.

"I hope I can keep doing my best and I will continue with my progress and try to improve myself.

"I wish to do the best myself in every game and to work hard for the team and for the supporters and of course to try to score more goals than the first half of the season."
