Chelsea have agreed to allow young striker Franco Di Santo to stay with Rovers for the remainder of the 2009-10 season.

The 20-year-old frontman joined Rovers initially on loan until the end of 2009, with the Argentine making 14 appearances and scoring once, against Burnley back in October.

Franco will now also be eligible for both FA Cup and the Carling Cup competitions.
